Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground turkey.
Add the breadcrumbs, grated carrot, chopped green onions, minced garlic, beaten egg, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, ginger paste, black pepper, salt, and sesame oil to the bowl.
Using your hands, gently mix the ingredients until just combined; avoid over-mixing to keep the meatloaf tender.
Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it firmly to shape it into a loaf.
Brush the top of the meatloaf with the additional teriyaki sauce, ensuring an even glaze.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Once done, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm, drizzling more teriyaki sauce over individual slices if desired.
Notes
Slice the meatloaf and arrange it on a platter. Garnish with extra chopped green onions and sesame seeds for an added touch. Serve alongside steamed broccoli or jasmine rice for a complete meal.
