In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets with minced garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure the broccoli is evenly coated.
Spread the broccoli mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and the edges are crispy.
Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot florets. Toss gently to combine.
Return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
Once done, remove the dish from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
