Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the all-purpose flour in 30-second intervals until it reaches 160°F (70°C). Let it cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Mix in the vanilla extract and softened cream cheese until combined and smooth.
Gradually add the cooled flour and salt to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Once chilled, serve the cookie dough dip with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices for dipping.
Notes
Make sure to heat the flour to eliminate any harmful bacteria.
