In a bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well coated and marinate for about 15 minutes.
While the shrimp is marinating, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
In the same skillet, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of shrimp on each tortilla. Top with sliced red cabbage and avocado.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
